The Raising Cane's River Center / ASM GLOBAL is searching for a full-time Facility Operations manager. The position, located in Baton Rouge, LA. The Operations manager is responsible for assisting in the oversight of the daily activities required to run, maintain, and service the Raising Cane’s River Center, and/or events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include coordinating operations activities with other building departments and ensuring adherence to Event Work Orders and show requirements; ensuring compliance with facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures within the Operations Department; monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and standard maintenance of the facility and associated premises, overseeing ongoing maintenance projects for quality and timely completion; monitoring, evaluating, and ensuring facility readiness and smooth operations during events; serving as Manager on Duty as required; supervising part-time employees; overseeing the facility keying system and checking out keys as necessary; maintaining the maintenance and repair log with City Public Works and City Buildings & Grounds; updating the Altum facility preventative maintenance system, observing, entering, and collecting facility repair and maintenance work orders as necessary; scheduling and monitoring the HVAC system optimally based on event load; responding to phone calls, text messages, and emails within 24 hours, utilizing the company-issued cell phone; making the cell phone number available to subordinates for necessary communication; maintaining safe, secure, and sanitary working conditions, leaving the work area clean and orderly; adhering to all ASM policies outlined in the Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual, and the Business Code of Conduct; and performing other duties as assigned. Required qualifications include 3 years of experience in facility management, operations, or a related field at an Arena, Theater or Exhibition/Convention Center; in-depth knowledge of facility management principles, practices, and industry standards; strong leadership and management skills; proficiency in facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems; excellent communication skills; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; attention to detail; familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to facility operations, safety, and environmental standards; proficiency in facility management software and CAFM systems; strong interpersonal skills; and flexibility to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and regular business hours. Physical requirements include reaching, walking, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods. The position may be exposed to adverse conditions such as fumes, wet floors, dust, and noise.
