Job Description
Sundance Bay Debt Partners is now accepting resumes for an experienced Loan Closer. This role supports a high performing loan origination team in Salt Lake City. The position plays an integral role in the loan origination team by managing the loan closing and onboarding process. Responsibilities of the closer include:
Responsibilities
● Review commercial loan documentation, supporting documentation and due diligence, to ensure that all loan documents are complete and reviewed for accuracy
● Manage and facilitate the closing process for a portfolio of diverse commercial and residential real estate loan products
● Review legal and policy components of loan documentation
● Communicate with internal and external clients, collecting, reviewing and distributing due diligence items necessary for a loan closing
● Maintain loan database to reflect accurate details of each loan
● Maintain detailed checklists and timeline for each transaction file
● Provide instructions & requests to title/escrow, third party vendors, borrowers & broker agents
● Prepare deed reconveyances when necessary
● Remaining flexible and completing other duties as needed
Position Requirements
● High School Degree Required. AA, BA or BS degree preferred
● Paralegal certification a plus
● Minimum of 2-4 years of commercial real estate loan closing experience, title escrow experience or related experience
● Basic knowledge of lending processes and procedures, loan documentation, exceptions, collateral review, payment and loan systems
● Strong interpersonal
● Prior title experience a plus
● Must have good organizational and customer service skills.
● Ability to complete processes and meet deadlines
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Adobe pdf applications.
● Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
