Trefoil Group is growing! Trefoil Group is looking to add an Marketing Assistant Account Executive to our growing team!

The Marketing Assistant Account Executive works with members of the Client Services team and other internal resources to assist in the successful launch and management of assigned marketing projects and campaigns for assigned clients and the agency. This position is responsible for executing marketing strategies on a tactical level by crafting copy, compiling marketing data, coordinating tasks with internal departments, and implementing campaigns. The Assistant Account Executive provides critical support to the account team and ensures that all potential opportunities are seized for clients. An entry-level position in marketing, the Assistant Account Executive role requires a basic degree of business acumen with strong customer service, relationship, and communication skills. Works under close supervision. Is learning and gaining proficiency in the specific area of discipline.

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write, edit, and proof marketing materials including media pitches, press releases, email communications, social media posts, blogs, thought leadership pieces, videos and client reports, ensuring quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles and tone.
  • Support media relations programs to secure targeted media placements and deliver consistent client results.
  • Interface effectively and comfortably with senior-level client contacts.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on client’s industries and current competitors, furthering the knowledge of their respective business categories.
  • Keep current on issues and trends of client industries, fostering an ability to proactively provide ideas that drive value.
  • Participate in the development of integrated marketing communication plans.
  • Support new business development through research, proofing with oversite.
  • Serve as liaison between the Client Services, Creative, and Digital teams to ensure on-time delivery and attention to detail on all client marketing programs.
  • Attend, participate and take notes in the client related strategy, creative, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Perform various administrative duties in support of client service’s needs.
  • Assist with hospitality arrangements for client meetings.
  • Respond to changes, demands and deadlines of accounts’ needs by providing appropriate solutions.
  • Produces quality work, on time and budget, to foster client satisfaction, account health and growth.
  • Proactively inform upper management of any issues or delays to assigned projects or clients.
  • Support agency growth through participation in new business initiatives for current and prospective clients including writing, research, and presentation development.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Possess a general understanding of marketing concepts and agency services.
  • Passion for making your customers and team successful.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets.
  • Organized; with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Possess a strong attention to detail ensuring quality standards are achieved.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage in proactive and regular communication with executives and team leaders at all levels.
  • Good active listening skills required.
  • Assertive and confident to ask questions to gain additional clarity and understanding.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
  • Intermediate to advanced level proficiency with MS Office Suite of applications.
  • Computer proficiency with ability to learn new software systems.
  • Propensity for relationship building.

  • Self-directed, goal-oriented and flexible, enjoys working in a fast-paced at times challenging environment.
