Notre Dame Mission Volunteers - Western NY Notre Dame Mission Volunteers members serve in over 25 cities across the country, providing one-on-one and small group instruction to student and adult learners. With a focus on education and college/career readiness, NDMV members provide critical services to schools, after school programs, and non-profit community partners. In addition to serving, NDMV members are grouped into city cohorts and supported by a local NDMV Site Manager who provides training opportunities, facilitates service projects and accompanies members on their service journeys. An annual MidYear conference in Baltimore, MD offers networking, connection, and personal and professional development opportunities for NDMV. Member Duties : NDMV members in Western New York serve in Rochester and Buffalo both in schools and nonprofits providing academic, health and wellness, and technology programming to students in grade K-12 and adult learners. Members in Rochester serve at St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center and Generation 2. Members in Buffalo serve at Journey's End Refugee Services and Belle Center.
