Radiology Technologist at Novant Health summary:

The Radiology Technologist operates x-ray equipment to assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate patient preparation and safety. This role requires certification by the ARRT, two years of diagnostic radiology experience, and the ability to manage patient care tailored to age-specific needs. Employed full-time at Novant Health Extended Care Clinic, the technologist contributes to high-quality patient care within a diverse and inclusive healthcare environment.

*Novant Health Extended Care is seeking a Radiology Tech to work Mon - Wed 7am - 7pm. Off on Weekends and Holidays*

The Radiologic Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images. 

• Schedule : Full Time, 12hr Days 7:00am - 7:00pm off on Weekends & Holidays
• Department : Novant Health Extended Care Clinic - Tanglewood
• Location : Clemmons, NC

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of an accredited Radiology program or a certified/ accredited/JCERT hospital based program and credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.
• Experience:  Two years experience in diagnostic radiology, required.
• Licensure/Certification:  ARRT, required.
• Additional Skills Required:  Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures.
