About the Role:

We are seeking a Level 4 Hourly Training Coordinator to join our team and support the design and development of engaging, scalable learning experiences. This role will focus on creating training content that empowers frontline employees, managers, and operational teams to excel in their roles. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and able to translate complex processes into easy-to-understand learning solutions.

Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop instructional content for in-person, virtual, and on-demand learning experiences.
  • Apply adult learning principles to create engaging and effective instructional materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), job aids, guides, and assessments.
  • Conduct needs analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of training solutions.
  • Ensure training materials are aligned with business goals, brand standards, and instructional design best practices.
  • Manage project timelines and communicate progress with stakeholders regularly.
  • Incorporate feedback to iterate and improve content.
  • Use learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, and Camtasia.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design or learning content development.
  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools and LMS platforms.
  • Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or related field.
  • Experience designing content for frontline or operational roles.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $46,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $74,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
