Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) is seeking a skilled and motivated
Web Developer to join our dynamic team supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This role focuses on developing robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications that directly support critical healthcare missions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in both front-end and back-end development, with experience in modern frameworks, content management systems, and best practices for secure and maintainable code.
Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and enhance large-scale web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks.
- Apply deep knowledge of web standards, accessibility, security, and performance optimization to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Design and implement scalable back-end services and APIs using NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, Java, and/or Node.js.
- Develop and maintain database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance for relational and NoSQL databases.
- Utilize front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or js to build intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
- Leverage experience with Sitecore or similar content management systems to support web content delivery and management.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including UX designers, project managers, QA testers, and other developers in an Agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of development processes and documentation.
- Stay current with emerging web technologies and recommend their adoption to improve application functionality and user experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- 4+ years of relevant experience may be used in lieu of degree.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in DoD Healthcare IT (preferred).
- Experience with C# and Java.
- Ability to obtain Public Trust required.

- Ability to write clean code and document your work effectively.
- Ability to analyze requirements to produce a realistic level of effort.
- Ability to design effective software architectures for large development projects.

- Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals.
- Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
- Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.
- Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it.
