Role: Senior SAP Basis Administrator

Location: Houston, TX — Onsite, 5 Days a Week

We are looking for SAP expert who is ready to lead complex initiatives in a high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in analysis, requirements gathering, estimation, and system design for SAP projects.

• Perform and oversee SAP system administration including installation, upgrades, configuration, integration, and system refreshes.

• Manage project setups, documentation, deployment, and end-user training in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

• Ensure production stability through performance optimization and environment management.

• Collaborate with vendors to select, acquire, install, and configure third-party applications.

• Provide architectural leadership and strategic direction for SAP systems and infrastructure.

• Supervise team members and manage workload allocation and project coordination.

• Conduct technical research and provide recommendations for software and infrastructure improvements.

• Maintain accountability for budget and service quality in SAP-related initiatives.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• 15+ years of SAP Basis administration experience, with deep expertise in S/4 HANA system administration.
• Proficiency in SAP core system administration, including installation, upgrades, system refreshes, and production support.
• Strong experience in SAP HANA and Oracle database administration.
• Solid understanding of SAP HANA architecture, security, performance tuning, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Skilled in SAP Solution Manager (including EWA and monitoring) and DMO-based system migrations and upgrades.
• Experience managing dual landscapes across multiple SAP applications.
• Working knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Java stack administration.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and Shell scripting.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot integration issues between SAP and third-party applications.
• Implement and support high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams.
